Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture, sometimes called facial acupuncture or facial rejuvenation acupuncture, uses fine sterile acupuncture needles on selected areas of the face and body as part of an individualized Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment.
Clients may choose cosmetic acupuncture when they are interested in a gentle, non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation and maintaining a refreshed, healthy-looking appearance.
Treatment is performed by Charles Guo, R.Ac at 4Seasons Massage & Acupuncture, 2 Carlton Street, Suite 720 in downtown Toronto — steps from College Subway Station. You can also explore our Toronto acupuncture services.

Cosmetic acupuncture is individualized to your facial presentation, skin concerns and treatment goals. Results and responses vary from person to person.
Cosmetic acupuncture involves placing fine, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles at selected facial and body points. Point selection varies according to your facial presentation, treatment goals and Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment.
The facial portion of treatment focuses on selected areas of the face while body acupuncture may be incorporated as part of the overall TCM approach.
Cosmetic acupuncture is different from procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments and microneedling. It does not attempt to reproduce the same mechanism or outcome as those procedures. Your treatment plan should be based on your individual goals and preferences.
For clients who want a more comprehensive facial treatment, Cosmetic Acupuncture can be combined with Sculptural Face Lifting and Buccal Massage during the same visit.
Charles is registered as both an Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist. The acupuncture and RMT portions are documented separately. Insurance eligibility and reimbursement depend on your individual plan.
There is no single treatment schedule that is appropriate for everyone. Some clients book cosmetic acupuncture occasionally, while others choose a series of appointments based on their goals and response to treatment.
After your first appointment, Charles can discuss an individualized treatment frequency with you. Cosmetic results vary according to factors such as age, skin condition, lifestyle and individual response.
